Hi, I’m Daisy Gaikwad!

I’m so happy you are here :)

My love for design began freshman year of high school, where multimedia and web design courses quickly became my favorite part of the school day. By junior year, that passion had translated into an Adobe Dreamweaver certification — and a clear sense of direction. Web design captivated me because it sits at the intersection of two things I love: code and creativity. It's technical and expressive, and at its best, it's a genuine way to connect with people.

That early foundation also shaped how I think about design more broadly. Learning to build for the web made accessibility a core value, not an afterthought — I believe great design works for everyone.

Unwilling to choose between my two passions, I pursued a dual degree in Computer Science (BS) and Graphic Design (BA) from Keene State College. Now, as an MFA candidate at Boston University, I'm deepening both my craft and my perspective on what design can do.
